The Signal Processing Algorithm Research Group (SPAG) is a Finnish Centre of Excellence in Research appointed by the Academy of Finland and the Ministry of Education. The group has attained the status for the years 2006 to 2011. The group holds the status for the second term following its first appointment as a Centre of Excellence by the Academy of Finland from 2000 to 2005.
